'Almost Flamboyant', written by Rijn Collins and produced by the ABC's Lea Redfern, recently took the top prize at the newly-created Sarah Lawrence College International Audio Fiction Awards (more simply known as 'The Sarahs'). In Notes at wheelercentre.com, we spoke to Rijn about the intricacies of audio fiction, the thought process behind her prolific output, and the influence of new places, broad tastes and a background in linguistics.
What's your favourite piece of audio fiction – and where would you like to see the form heading in the future?
